Mark Brittain, President of Mt Gravatt Hawks FC along with Head Coach Roger Hunter, today announced that Matt Sciacca will return as Club Captain for the upcoming VIVA Capital League One season.
Sciacca has put pen to paper for another season at Dittmer Park following last seasons unfortunate relegation. Matt was a graduate of our successful development program and next season will have Matt playing his 25th season in the green and gold.
After announcing the signing, our President Mark Brittain said "it gives me great pleasure to see Matt re-sign with the club. I think it is important for our junior players to see a pathway from MiniRoos through to our first team. He is also a great role model for our junior players through the loyalty he has had for this club."
"It's a great feeling to sign again with the club. I know the last few seasons haven't been the most fortunate but I think the next season will be much better. I'm looking forward to wearing the Hawks colours again."
