A Legacy of Excellence
Mt Gravatt Hawks has a rich history as one of Brisbane’s original women’s football clubs. Over the years, we’ve been home to some of Australia’s finest football talent, including Matildas legends like Katrina Gorry, Laura Alleway, Alicia Ferguson, and Brooke Spence. These homegrown heroes serve as an inspiration to our current and future players, showcasing the possibilities that start at a grassroots level.
A Major Focus in 2025
After the success of our Girls Development Program from 2019 to 2024, we are excited to announce the formation of more Girls-Only Teams in 2025. This initiative aligns with our major focus on football programs that emphasize inclusivity, skill development, and affordability. A key element of this plan is investing in the development of female players and coaches to ensure a strong foundation for the future.

U4-6 Girls Only Fledglings: A fun and engaging introduction to football for our youngest players.
U8-12 Girls Only MiniRoos: Skill-building programs designed to develop technical abilities and teamwork.
U13-15 Junior Girls: Focused on enhancing skills while fostering a love for the game.
U17 Youth Women: Preparing players for competitive football with an emphasis on growth and development.
FQPL 2 Women and U23 Women: High-level competition for those looking to challenge themselves.
Metro League Women: A social football option catering to all levels of experience.
