Mt Gravatt Hawks is saddened to advise that our premises have been broken into this morning and have had substantial damage to our clubhouse, canteen and bar areas. This is the second break-in of our Dittmer Park base in the last eight months (first time was the day our junior club day in October 2018).
On the events, Hawks president Mark Brittain commented, "unfortunately we have sustained a fair bit of property damage and they have senselessly trashed our canteen, bar and clubhouse."
"I would like to thank the wider community for their offers of support since news broke this morning, we hope to back on our feet soon. Thank you" Brittain continued.
Following the damage, the affected areas including clubhouse, bar and canteen will be closed until further notice.
