GIRLS ONLY TEAMS

 

It's our aim at Mt Gravatt Hawks is to provide football programs for players of all abilities and genders.  After a hugely successful Girls Development Program in 2019-2023, we are forming more Girls Only Teams in 2024.

 

Hawks FC major focus in 2024 is it's football programs and going back to basics to offer affordable, inclusive and development oriented football to our local community. A significant part of the plan includes an investment in developing female players and coaches.

 

Mt Gravatt was one of Brisbane's original Women's clubs and over the years we have developed players that have gone on to greater heights including representing Australia. Player's like Katrina Gorry, Laura Alleway, Alicia Ferguson and Brooke Spence are just some of our home grown heroes.

 

We are planning to have the following teams:

FLEDGLINGS

​

• U6 GIRLS (Players born 2018-2020) FULL SEASON - $345/season (inc Full Playing Kit, FFA Participation Pack and Girls Development Program and all match fees.  Players will train on Saturday mornings (8:00-8:30am) for a period of 30 min.

• Games will be played on Saturday mornings (8:30-9:00am) and TEAMS will be run by nominated Game Leaders.

MINIROOS

• U8 GIRLS (Players born 2016-2017) FULL SEASON - $455/season (Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees).  NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club MiniRoos Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and include Girls Development Program)

• U9 GIRLS (Players born 2015) FULL SEASON - $455/season (inc Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees).  NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club MiniRoos Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and include Girls Development Program)

• U10 GIRLS (Players born 2014) FULL SEASON - $455/season (inc Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees).  NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club MiniRoos Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and include Girls Development Program)

• U12 GIRLS (Players born 2012) FULL SEASON - $471/season (inc Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees).  NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club MiniRoos Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and include Girls Development Program)

JUNIORS

• U13 GIRLS (Players born 2011-2012) FULL SEASON - $555/season (inc Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees). NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club Junior Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and includes Girls Development Program)​

• U15 GIRLS (Players born 2008-2010) FULL SEASON - $555/season (inc Training Shirt, Team Photo, Trophy, Junior Presentation, Girls Development Program and all match fees). NOTE: This team will be participating in a Football Queensland's Inter-club Junior Competition - (NO MATCH FEES and includes Girls Development Program)​

Training for Girls Only Teams (except U4-6) will be on Wednesday evenings from 5:45pm.

 

Our aim for our girls teams is to enjoy their football and develop their skills in a fun, friendly environment.
